TERRA VERDE

CREATIVE HOUSE

“Come Find Your Dream”

August 2022 - Present

The Launch

In Conclusion: The Avenue Documentary served as the final project from The Avenue.

Shortly after the release of the documentary came the birth of “Terra Verde Creative House”, which reimagined The Avenue. The group came together and examined their values, image, and goals. A more refined and focused collective of creatives in Appalachia looking to inspire others to create.

“We Were Just at the House Last Week”

September 2022

“We Were Just at the House Last Week” is a dance-inspired album created by Terra Verde. The entire house embraced full group collaboration to create a piece of art reflective of their current state. The tracks were produced by Eli Strohecker, Nate Pollock, and Max Kemats. The album’s art direction was done by Jackson and Max Kemats. Videos and promotional material were created by Noah Ferrier.

The album was rolled out with the single, “The Airline”, which was created in the summer of 2022 by all three producers on the album. After the release of the project, a music video was released for the single. Terra Verde also did a press run, doing an interview with Cassie McCoy. The project showed how diverse and dynamic the house can be.

“Appalachian Winter”

February 2023

Appalachian Winter: a double sided LP from Max Kemats and Eli Strohecker. On February 1st, Appalachian Winter: Dawn by Strohecker came out. A week later, Dusk by Kemats dropped. The albums reflected what winter feels like while living in Appalachia. The use of ambient and distant cold sounds created a soundscape of their perspectives.

Max also did the art direction on the project, doing both covers and shooting/editing promotional videos. The gritty and raw feel puts the audience in the shoes of someone living in Appalachian.

TV10 Radio

A love for community drives TV10 Radio. A mix of music ranging from UK garage to underground rap to deep techno, this is music that fuels the house. While Max takes care of the mixes, it is a collaborative effort between all of the members of the house to create a true production with visuals. With one episode out, the house looks forward to producing more in the near future.

Kent Core TV2

During the spring of 2023, the house went on a run of live performances at Kent Core TV2. Nate Pollock performed a solo DJ Set in February hosted by Cassie McCoy. His selections included both TVCH original music and outside picks. Max Kemats and Eli Strohecker linked up in March to make their live debut after years of dropping music together. Selections from “It Happens to All Of Us” were performed as well as unreleased tracks. The show was also hosted by McCoy.
